So you want to join the team in 2021?

USO membership is open to anyone who has a passion for our Kaupapa.  The Kaupapa is what differentiates us from other cycling groups.  Founded on Pacific and Maori values and aspirations it means different things to different people but it's what attracts people to join the "Waka on Wheels"

Our bunch rides help riders of all shapes, abilities and sizes to achieve their goals.  Often for many that means regular commutacating to work, and social bunch rides.

However, we do develop leadership skills, fitness and cycle confidence.  Those riders that do seek to race and compete at higher levels can do so through our membership option to join Cycling New Zealand. This  allows riders to continue to enjoy everything USO !

Many joining from a racing/competitive background  have noted that joining USO Bike Ride is unlike anything they have previously experienced.  The cohesiveness, whanau and sense of community and purpose unites all members.

Sharing through camps, cancer awareness rides and a heavy focus on safety and skill development are what makes the USO experience unique.
